You'll see Oak Creek Canyon, the magnificent Grand Canyon, the tallest peak in Arizona, the Painted Desert, the Little Colorado River Gorge, and the Historic Cameron Trading Post on the Navajo Nation. And you'll take an exciting 30-minute helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon.

Your day begins with complimentary pick up at your resort or hotel. Your knowledgeable guide will be narrating as we drive through this beautiful, diverse landscape. You'll enjoy seeing Oak Creek Canyon between Sedona and Flagstaff. An informational video is shown giving an overview of the Northern Arizona area.

The first stop is the Grand Canyon Airport for your helicopter ride. You will see the majestic beauty of the Grand Canyon from a vantage point unlike any other. The exciting 30-minute helicopter adventure explores the awesome Central Canyon and the Dragon Corridor. Marvel at the ever-changing shades of color, light, and shadow.

You will fly in first class comfort. Dramatic music and narration is broadcast through your headset. There is also direct sound hookup so you can record the music and narration as you videotape your adventure.

Lunch is next at the Maswik Lodge at the Grand Canyon National Park.

At the Grand Canyon National Park, you will have time to see the amazing Canyon, explore the historic buildings, visit the gift shop, or walk part of the paved South Rim trail. Then your guide will take you to the East Rim to a few more great lookouts. During the day, you will learn all about the Grand Canyon's history, geology, and more.

As we drive out the East entrance, we will drive along the Little Colorado River Gorge into the Navajo Nation. Here we will stop at the Historic Cameron Trading Post before returning to your resort. You will have the opportunity to browse the Native American artwork and shop for souvenirs. A fun, educational day!

What should I bring and what should I wear for my trip to the Grand Canyon?

You should wear comfortable shoes, a hat to keep your head protected from the sun, sunglasses, and sunscreen. It may be cool in the early morning or evening and can get very hot in the afternoons. A light shirt, shorts, and a rain jacket are recommended in warmer months. It does rain in Arizona so you may also want to carry an umbrella. Light day packs are great for carrying everything you will need and for filling up with all of the wonderful souvenirs that you will find at the many gift shops. Don't forget your camera with plenty of film.
